Operation Call Out

Eastern Region proudly recognizes Lester Castell, Nicolas Dizon and Debbie Sherman for their contributions and support of the Exchange Mission. The focus on customer service is a priority, and it shows in the results! Thanks for all you do!

Lester Castell
Warehouse Worker
Hanscom Air Force Base

Lester is a retired Air Force master sergeant with 24 years of service to our country and  20 years and counting as an Exchange associate. Lester provides a high-level detailed analysis of every receiving document he processes, promptly following up with inventory discrepancies to ensure that claims are processed accurately and that we are credited appropriately. Lester’s commitment to his job helped to achieve an inventory variance of 0.013%. He recovered almost $12,000 in receiving credits in 2022, and has already recovered close to $6,000 this year. His dedication to his job and his team makes him an undeniable asset and a truly valued member to the entire Exchange.

Nicolas Dizon
Burger King Food Service Worker
JB Andrews-Bolling

Nicolas is being recognized for his outstanding dedication, not just to the Bolling Burger King but to the Exchange mission.  He consistently steps up to ensure the facility is maintained inside and out. For Nicolas, there is no task too big. He’s always the first to step up and ask how he can help. He sets the example of what a team player truly is and constantly sets the example of Family Serving Family. We are honored to have him as part of our Exchange family.

Debbie Sherman
Optical Center Associate
Fort Drum

Debbie is an outstanding associate, and she is consistently recognized by our customers for standing firmly on our core value of Family Serving Family. She recently received a customer comment for her excellent customer service: “Debbie was so welcoming, made me feel like I was at home picking out lenses for me. I really appreciated her helping me choose a pair of glasses that would fit my face and look good with a higher corrective power. The team is lucky to have her. Thank you so much!”.  Yes, we are. Thank you, Debbie for all you do!
