Sun C. Saulo
Inventory Control Associate
Hawaii–American Samoa Exchange

Sun is truly passionate about her job, proudly providing extraordinary service to everyone she encounters. Recently, we had a customer, Mrs. Shimasaki, visiting family from Japan. After receiving assistance from Sun, she sought out the store manager to share her experience: “Sun greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed assistance. I asked her to check if you had any $49.95 juicers. She went to check and came back with the Ninja blender valued at $499.00 and advised me that you were out of the item I requested, but that the Ninja blender is top-quality and will do what I need.”  The customer and her husband laughed and purchased the Ninja blender. Upon each visit to American Samoa, Mrs. Shimasaki shops at the Exchange and reaches out to Sun when she needs help. Thank you, Sun, for all you do!

Sayaka Nickless
Snack Bar Food Service Worker
Yokota Air Base

On June 15, we had a bomb scare at Yokota Air Base, forcing many people to evacuate multiple locations for several hours.  As a result of food locations being closed, we had a high influx of foot traffic at the Base Operation Snack Bar. Sayaka and her teammates didn’t skip a beat and they set a new daily sales record of $2,808.10. ensuring that more than 240 people had food during the evacuation. Our customers are very appreciative for all the hard work and great customer service. Thank you, Sayaka, for your superior performance!

Chong, Chang-Yun
Services Operations Assistant
Camp Humphreys Exchange

Mr. Chong is the backbone of Humphreys’ Services; his dedication and contributions are significant. He submits the concessions settlement reports, always checking for accuracy, never missing a deadline and always ensuring that everyone receives their money in a timely manner. Mr. Chong recently worked the night shift to make sure that a scheduled duct cleaning at the Sentry Mini Mall wouldn’t interfere with our concessionaires’ businesses. We sincerely appreciate all he does.  Thank you so much, Mr. Chong!
