And the Winners Are…MILITARY STAR Q2 Challenge Cup Standings

EP MilStar Challenge Cup 2023_2

The results are in for the MILITARY STAR® Challenge Cup competition and the winning Exchanges for the second quarter are:

  • Eastern: Fort Gordon
  • Central: Redstone Arsenal
  • Western: Nellis AFB
  • Europe: Ramstein Air Base
  • Pacific: U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys

At the beginning of the fiscal year, MILITARY STAR introduced the Challenge Cup as a way for Exchanges to compete for prizes. The quarterly leaders each receive $500 to host a team event. At the end of the year, the top Exchange worldwide will receive a $1,000 prize and the Challenge Cup.

The results are based on each Exchange’s increase in card usage and new accounts over the previous year. The average of an Exchange’s year-over-year percentage change in both categories is the store’s final score.

“The Challenge Cup has played a significant role in growing year-over-year penetration and new accounts,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President Tommy Ward. “This friendly competition is bringing out the best in our regions and it’s sure to heat up even more throughout the year.”

Follow the competition and see the quarterly winners in the Exchange Post and on Exchange associate social media InstagramX and Facebook pages.

Being employed with the AAFES Family Life Community at Camp Kinser Exchange Braqnch Store, Okinawa, Japan (6445100600), our Valued Customers continue to grow as they shop and use the Military Star Card. Their benefits and savings are felt and the Exchange Store feels the transaction also in powerful positive way. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.
