After our previous services business manager retired at the end of June and within a few weeks of returning from maternity leave, Rochel Holder was temporarily promoted to be the new services business manager. Since then, she has been working extremely hard to get exciting new things going.  Rochel spearheaded the installation of unmanned retail markets into three of our buildings. In the first week, those markets made more than $2,500 in sales!  Rochel is working to organize grand openings and is  to get two new vendors for our food court, all in just over a month. She is always positive and encouraging, making her a great asset to our team!

Savannah Woods
Main Express – Roving Store Worker

Savannah Woods has been with the Exchange for two years. It’s very rare to meet someone of his caliber; he’s one of the hardest-working individuals on our team and consistently demonstrates what it takes to be a great roving store worker.  Savannah takes on additional assigned tasks as if they were on his agenda. He stocks Wine and Spirits on delivery days, and he works in all aspects of the Express including all areas of Heat & Eat: Hunt Brothers, Chopz, Eddie Peppers and Hot Stuff Kitchen. Savannah was instrumental in the implementation of Hot Stuff Kitchen, earning 10.7% of our total quick serve restaurant (QSR) sales in the first 14 days of operation. If he’s on shift, every manager knows there are certain areas they won’t have to worry with because he will take care of them.  At the Express, where it’s a continual pivot, it’s reassuring to have associates like Savannah on our team. Our customers appreciate him for his positive attitude and friendly gestures like remembering a unique pizza order or pumping their gas. Thank you, Savannah for being an outstanding team member and a pleasure to work with, and for making Barksdale Express an excellent choice for our customers to shop and for taking care of our team!

Hailey has exceptional customer service skills and is the definition of a team player. She is quick to come in to work whenever she’s needed, she’s eager to learn and she constantly looks for way to improve. Hailey has become the best grill associate, improving our speed of service and increasing sales.
