Airmen at Edwards Air Force Base now have access to quick and easy food options at three new unmanned retail markets.

The Edwards Exchange team and command team cut ribbons at the three locations on Oct. 24. Two markets are on base; one in Building 3000, and one for dormitory residents in Building 2424. A third location is available in Building 560B at Operating Location Plant 42.

The Exchange’s unmanned retail markets feature to-go meals, snacks and beverages, including better-for-you options such as salads, wraps, fresh fruit, protein bars and more. Basic sundries like medicines are also available. All locations feature self-checkout for fast and convenient shopping.

“These new markets are a perfect way to give our Airmen access to what they need, where and when they need it,” said Edwards BX General Manager Courtney Escobedo. “With two more unmanned retail markets planned for early 2024, the Exchange is all in to make sure we are providing the Edwards community with fast, convenient and healthy options.”
