During the past couple of weekends, three new Exchange announcements have made their national TV debuts.

The videos, produced by the Exchange’s Digital Media Networks team, feature Sgt. Maj. Of the Army Michael R. Weimer; Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne Bass; and Chief Master Sgt. of the Space Force John F. Bentivegna. The new spots debuted during service academy college football games.

All three senior enlisted leaders appear in a new “football toss” video in which they promote the Exchange benefit; Weimer and Bentivegna also appear individually in new spots for the Exchange. A commercial featuring Bass that debuted in 2022 continues to air.

Weimer’s announcement first aired Oct. 28, during the Army’s game against the University of Massachusetts. Bentivegna’s spot aired the same day during Air Force’s game against Colorado State University; Bass’ ad from 2022 also aired during that game. The new football toss video featuring all three debuted Saturday during the Army-Air Force game.

Other videos spotlight national brands at the Exchange, such as The Home Depot, Old Navy, Sunglass Hut and more; benefits available to Veterans shopping in-store and at ShopMyExchange.com/vets; the expanded patronage that has allowed Department of Defense and Coast Guard civilians who have a common access card (CAC) to shop tax-free instore and online since 2021; and the exclusive online access available to Retired DoD and Coast Guard civilians.

All video productions were created in-house by the Digital Media Networks team. They were produced by Frank Rincon and Communications Specialist III Amy Mitchell, filmed by Digital Media Specialist Toney Coleman and edited by Video Editor Brenda Vaughan.
