OPERATION: Call Out—Europe/SWA Region

Operation Call Out

The hard work and dedication to our service members provided by Wanda Ortiz, Emierose Lozano and Angela Salvi are outstanding. Their efforts to continuously find new ways to provide that extra customer care are appreciated, and we are proud to have them on the Europe team!

Wanda Ortiz
Warehouse Worker
Panzer Main Store

Wanda Ortiz has been an invaluable member of the Panzer Main Store team, working as a warehouse stocker. The pride she takes in her job and attention to detail have been inspiration to her team. Wanda is the embodiment of the Exchange values with her work and with her family. She has a daughter who works for the Exchange as a store manager in Garmisch, Germany, and her husband is an active-duty Army officer. Wanda truly represents our core value, Family Serving Family!

Emierose Lozano
Retail Supervisor
Vicenza Main Store

After serving our customers for three years in food, Emierose recently moved to retail and completed the Retail Management Academy this year. She has been instrumental in leading her team to extraordinary accomplishments with Exchange programs. For October, we were at 25.83%, making Vicenza Main Store No. 1 in Europe and No. 2 in main stores worldwide for Exchange Protection Plans. Vicenza is No. 1 in Europe with an attachment rate of 45% in June, 34% in July and 36% in August for AppleCare sales. Our MILITARY STAR applications are 56% above last year with 182 approved. PowerZone processed 32 new applications last month alone! Emierose is a great example of how knowledge gained in the Retail Management Academy, combined with upselling skills she learned in food, can have outstanding impacts in retail!

Angela Salvi
EUCT
Ramstein, Germany

Not only does Angela handle our daily IT functions, she was instrumental in the successful implementation of self-checkout.  During the past nine months, our facility has undergone a Customer Experience construction project that disrupted our Center Court. Angela used that time to assist in locating, replacing and repairing six printers in the facility—helping creat an estimated $6,000+ in savings to KMCC main store. In addition to her regular duties, Angela volunteers her time and skills to help support the regional Diversity & Inclusion team by creating most of the digital content. She has served in several roles during her time with the Exchange. Her reputation is one of professionalism, loyalty and respect, making her a tremendous asset and an integral part of the Exchange family!
