The Home Stretch: Q3 MILTARY STAR Challenge Cup Standings

EP MilStar Challenge Cup 2023_2

As the MILITARY STAR® Challenge Cup competition hits the home stretch, the Exchange Post is checking in on the third-quarter results. The top Exchanges in that period were:

  • Europe/SWA: Camp Arifjan
  • Eastern: Fort Buchanan
  • Central: Columbus AFB
  • Pacific: Camp Zama
  • Western: Edwards AFB

“Q4 is our busiest time of the year, so no matter where your Exchange stands now, there’s a lot of competition left,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President Tommy Ward. “With holiday shopping and so many great Q4 MILITARY STAR promotions happening, we expect to see some shake-up in the rankings before the final results.”

At the start of the fiscal year, MILITARY STAR introduced a new way for Exchanges to compete for prizes—and bragging rights—with the MILITARY STAR Challenge Cup competition.

The results are based on each Exchange’s increase in card usage and new accounts over the previous year. The average of an Exchange’s year-over-year percentage change in both categories is the store’s final score.

The quarterly leaders each receive $500 to host a team event. At the end of the year, the top Exchange worldwide will receive a $1,000 prize and the Challenge Cup.

Follow the competition and see the quarterly winners in the Exchange Post and on Exchange associate social media Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages.
