Fort Johnson

Nicholas started at Fort Johnson as a receiver in November 2021. After consistently displaying an eagerness to learn, in July, he took on the position of temporary manager, In the past few months, Nicholas has become more knowledgeable in prioritizing tasks, working staffing issues, issuing 3078s and Army Green Service Uniform fittings.  He’s vigilant in organizing the warehouse and his teammates accept his f leadership skills. Nicholas has outstanding customer service and a contagious happy-go-lucky personality.  He is truly an asset to the Johnson Army Military Clothing store!

Macayla Robbins
Services Assistant
Fort Leonard Wood

During a transition in service business managers at Fort Leonard Wood, Macayla was instrumental in keeping the Services team focused on growing the business. She is consistently looking for new and exciting concepts for the Fort Leonard Wood community and brought in the Jamaican Jerk Hut food truck. The truck;s sales for its first visit to Leonard Wood totaled $12,800 and the Exchange made $1,300 in income in two days. Macayla has been a driving force, pushing the Services team to higher levels.  As a thank you for Macayla’s hard work and dedication, Central Region Senior Vice President Rebecca Santee recentlty recognized Macayla with her coin.  Way to go, Macayla!

Christie Arnold
Food Service Worker
Fort Riley

Christie has been with the Exchange for 12 years, most of that time as a food service worker. She knows most of our customers and always greets them with a smile and “Hello, how are you?” Christie is dedicated to ensuring that our guests have the best experience, making sure the dining room is in top shape—especially during rush time—and she does a great job keeping everything stocked.  Thank you, Christie!
