Nelson Colon
Shift Manager
Fort Leonard Wood
Nelson never backs off from learning something new or helping his teammates. He is hard-working, dedicated and instrumental in training new associates. Nelson recently demonstrated his outstanding character and commitment when a customer with a disability arrived at the Express late one evening with a flat tire. Due to the time, Nelson was unable to find someone on post to assist the gentleman. Nelson quickly researched how to get the spare from under the vehicle, and after fighting with the tire and jack, he was able to get the tire changed for a very appreciative customer who was able to get home safely. We are extremely proud to have Nelson as part of the Fort Leonard Wood family; he is a true asset to the team!
Myong Alton
CSC Service Works
Fort Campbell
We recently received a customer comment for Myong Alton. “Mrs. Myong, who works at the Fort Campbell laundromat near the bowling alley, is an amazing woman. Her work is award-worthy, and her service is second to none. I watched as she helped at least a dozen Soldiers clean and recover their gear for return or inspection, and she even taught some of the younger Soldiers how to take apart and put together their rucksacks. All with a smile on her face.” Myong’s exemplary customer service has resulted in a 13.8% increase in sales and an 18% increase in direct operating results over prior year. Myong has been with CSC at Fort Campbell for five years, providing the gold standard of customer service.
Oscar Villafuerte Flores
Qdoba Cook
Barksdale Air Force Base
During Oscar’s year at Barksdale, he has been a true example of dedication, setting the standard for not just Qdoba, but for the food court as well. He was instrumental in identifying and correcting facility deficiencies to ensure compliance. Oscar’s passion and dedication to his cooking duties ensured a score of 103.5% audit twice during this fiscal year for Qdoba. Demanding work never presents a problem for him; he does his job in a timely manner, consistently providing exceptional customer service, all with a smile and a great attitude.
