Travis Air Force Base welcomed legendary monster truck Grave Digger as part of a special joint military resale event on Jan. 25.

Joined by champion driver Brandon Vinson, the Grave Digger truck was put on display outside of the Travis Main Exchange and Commissary.

Attendees enjoyed photo opportunities, autographs, Monster Jam ticket giveaways and free merchandise bags, along with children’s activities including face painting, balloon art and coloring stations.

Travis AFB won the display as part of the Procter & Gamble Monster Jam Joint Resale Event after providing exceptional in-store promotion for the event as well as driving 10% in sales growth across the Exchange and commissary.

“We were thrilled to be able to host this event along with the Travis Commissary,” said Keon Boney, Travis Main Exchange store manager. “It was amazing to see the excitement and gratitude from everyone who came out to join us.”

In attendance along with the Exchange and Commissary teams was 60th Mission Support Group leadership, including Command Sgt. Maj. Carl Rishkofski and Deputy Director Bobbie J. Campbell

“I’m very grateful for the Exchange and Commissary store teams for working together to win this event for the Travis community,” Exchange General Manager Catherine Byrns said. “It speaks to the amazing associates we have working across all our stores on base, showing that they’re all in for Travis Airmen and their families.”
