Fort Belvoir Exchange Opens New Unattended Retail Unit for DEVCOM C5ISR Center
The Fort Belvoir Exchange recently unveiled a new unattended retail unit at the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center.
Dr. Richard Nabors, C5ISR Center Principal Deputy Director, joined Fort Belvoir PX General Manager Alex Mamaril in cutting the ribbon on the convenience market on Feb. 1.
The unit offers meals, snacks and beverages, including better-for-you options such as salads, wraps, fresh fruit, protein bars, breakfast burritos and more.
“The Exchange is happy to be able to serve our C5ISR team with this innovative market,” Mamaril said. “Even in a secure area with a small population, the Exchange found a way to bring needed options and convenience to help improve quality of life.”
The unit is in Area 300 and is open 24 hours a day for those with access to the secure area.
