Q4 Challenge Cup Leaders End Year on a High Note
UPDATE: An earlier version of this story listed the Q4 Challenge Cup Central Region winner incorrectly. The story has been updated to reflect the correct winner.
The MILITARY STAR® Challenge Cup competition continued with strong Q4 results. The winners of the yearlong contest will be announced at the Retail, Food and Services Managers Conference in March, but for now, check out the region winners for the final quarter of FY2023. Pacific was the top-performing region, and the regional winners are:
- Western: Travis Air Force Base
- Central: Fort McCoy
- Eastern: Puerto Rico Consolidated
- Europe/SWA: Italy Consolidated
- Pacific: Schofield Barracks
“It’s fantastic to see such strong results from Q4, especially with all the extra work associates had during our busiest season,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President Tommy Ward. “Can’t wait to see which Exchange will walk away with the 2023 Challenge Cup and $1,000 prize!”
At the start of fiscal 2023, MILITARY STAR introduced a new way for Exchanges to compete for prizes—and bragging rights—with the MILITARY STAR Challenge Cup competition.
The results are based on each Exchange’s increase in card usage and new accounts over the previous year. The average of an Exchange’s year-over-year percentage change in both categories is the store’s final score.
The quarterly Exchange winners each receive $500 to host a team event. At the end of the year, the top Exchange worldwide will receive a $1,000 prize and the Challenge Cup.
Follow the competition and see the quarterly winners in the Exchange Post and on Exchange associate social media Instagram, X and Facebook pages.
