Got an eye for color and design? AAPEX (AAFES Asian Pacific Exchange Group) is inviting all associates to flex their creative muscles in its logo design competition.

The winning design will be chosen as the new logo representing the special emphasis program at the Exchange.

To be considered for entry, participants must submit three versions of the same logo in monochrome, Exchange colors and colors of their choosing. Associates must submit their entries no later than May 3 to Diversityinclusion@aafes.com. Associates must enter “Logo Contest – AAPEX – Name of Associate” in the subject line of the email when submitting.

To avoid imposing too many limitations on creativity, there are no specific criteria, but associates should use best design practices in producing a concept.

Entries should be high resolution in either JPEG, PDF or PNG formats. Only original entries will be considered.

The winner of the chosen logo will be presented with a Director/CEO or COO challenge coin and a Thanks Award of $250. The winner will be announced the week of May 28, the final week of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

“This is a great opportunity for all associates to showcase their creativity,” said Jesse Martinez, Pacific region senior vice president. “The Exchange has many associates who are imaginative. We’re all excited to see what they can do.”

Throughout the fiscal year, other special emphasis program groups–PRIDE, ABLE, Nation’s Network, HEROES, BRIDGE and POWER–will conduct competitions of their own in search of a new logo to represent each group.
