OPERATION: Call Out—Central Region

COO-OperationCallout-Marla

These Central Region associates understand the meaning of Family Serving Family and Serving the Best Customers in the World. They go above and beyond to ensure that the Exchange is providing service and a taste of home no matter where they serve. Thank you, Jennifer Ford, Allen Maki and Kenyun Andrews.

Jennifer Ford
Military Clothing Store Shift Manager
Fort Leonard Wood

Jennifer is a huge part of an outstanding team, proudly serving our service members every day. We recently received a customer compliment commending her extreme professionalism:  “I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Jennifer.  Far too often, I see people getting by doing the minimum requirements of their jobs, and too many times even less. Jennifer is the total opposite. I have been in the Army almost 19 years and have frequented many Military Clothing stores. I have never had a more positive experience with someone as professional and helpful as Jennifer. The Leonard Wood community needs more people like her.  I am grateful for your assistance, thank you, Jennifer!”  We are proud to have Jennifer as part of the Leonard Wood team.

Allen Maki
Services Operations Assistant
Scott Air Force Base

Allen served in the military for 21 years and has been with the Exchange since March 2007. Regardless of the hour, he continually goes above and beyond to support our customers, vendors and contractors. When our services business manager retired, Allen accepted the role temporarily until the new one arrived. During those few months, he singlehandedly managed the Services operation, making significant achievements. His remarkable leadership skills, exceptional work ethic and dedication achieved year-to-date sales of $7.5 million, which is 12.5% above our financial plan and 11.1% above last year.  Allen’s extraordinary contributions exemplify the Exchange’s mission and core values, and have played a significant role in our success. We are truly fortunate to have him as part of team.  Thank you, Allen for your unwavering dedication and support. We appreciate you!

Kenyun Andrews
Popeyes Cook
Redstone Arsenal

Kenyun recently celebrated five years of service with the Exchange. He spent the last year serving the Redstone Arsenal community as a cook at Popeyes. His positive attitude and exceptional skills allow him to maintain momentum and keep up with batter demands on our busiest days. Kenyun’s reliability is truly commendable and during his time at Redstone, the facility has seen a 28% increase in sales and a 40% improvement in our direct operating results. He is always willing to lend a hand or share a smile when needed, and his strong leadership qualities are extremely beneficial when we onboard new associates.
