She keeps an optimistic spirit as she works through her daily task list, always assists with merchandising issues and eagerly seeks out additional work. Cinzia provides the best possible shopping experience by keeping an expert focus on our customers’ needs. She approaches every task with dedication and efficiency, willingly shares her knowledge with her teammates, and helps to ensure that our business runs smoothly. Cinzia’s outstanding efforts led to our success in Softlines sales of $52,000 or 1.8% above previous year, our markdowns are 4.4% below previous year, and our gross profit is 2.4% above fiscal year 2022. She truly takes her job to the next level, and our facility and customers benefit immensely.

Beverley ‘Bev’ King
Warehouse Stocker
Lakenheath Express

In Beverley’s 15+ years with the Exchange, she has been a food service worker, supervisor in the School Feeding Program, and now is a Warehouse Stocker at Lakenheath Express 650. With her exceptional attention to detail and her “no job too big or too small” mindset, she has acquired the reputation of “Master Stocker.”  Bev implemented an aggressive process to monitor expiration dates for more than 1,000 items in the food department and maintains an efficient first-in, first-out stockroom operation. We have seen a more than 60% reduction in controllable write-offs each month. Beverley is always available to answer customer questions and advise on product selection. She is a vital member of our team, and we are fortunate to have her and her infectious sparkling personality!

Hom Gurung
Stockroom Manager
Al Asad Air Base

Hom started with the Exchange 10 years ago as a cashier in Afghanistan, gaining knowledge and experience in the cash cage and central checkout. He was eventually promoted to supervisor. Now he has been promoted to the stockroom manager at Al Asad, where he has gained knowledge of stocking and receiving. As a certified material equipment handler, he trains others. He has trained and certified three associates with their licenses. Hom organized the stockroom, reducing facility write-offs by ensuring first-in, first-out has been implemented.  He is a well-respected asset to the Al Asad team, and we are grateful for all he does.
