A welcome Quality-of-Life and convenience improvement came to the Vandenberg Space Force Base Main Exchange with the relocation of The Cleaners.

The Exchange team and members of the 533rd Training Squadron cut the ribbon at the new location, helping to bridge the gap from the previous location, which was about a mile away from the BX and Military Clothing store.

The grand opening was attended by Lt. Col. Jonathan Arehart, 533rd Training Squadron commander; Master Sgt. Nichole DiBenedetto, first sergeant; Justin Picchi, Tech School director; Urvi Acharya, Vandenberg Exchange general manger; and Maribel Ceja, Exchange services business manager.

“We are thrilled to give the Vandenberg community much easier access to their alteration, dry cleaning and laundry needs,” Acharya said. “Eliminating the hassle of service members traveling across base for their clothing and Military Clothing work is a vital Quality-of-Life improvement.”
