Show Off and Show Out in the PRIDE Logo and Slogan Contest

ExPost-EEODI PRIDE Logo

Show off your colors! Associates are invited to participate in PRIDE’s logo and slogan contest. The winning design will represent PRIDE – People Respecting Individuality, Diversity & Equality – one of the Exchange’s special emphasis programs, representing the LGBTQIA community.

To be considered for entry, participants must submit one design (and no more than two designs), incorporating the colors found on the PRIDE flag. Associates must submit their entry no later than May 24 to Diversityinclusion@aafes.com. Associates must enter “Logo Contest – PRIDE – Name of Associate” in the subject line of the email when submitting.

There are no specific criteria for the logo besides incorporating PRIDE flag colors, but associates should use best design principles in producing a concept. Slogans should also be simple, easy to remember and appropriate for work.

Entries should be high resolution in either JPEG, PDF or PNG formats. Only original entries will be considered.

The winner of the chosen logo will be presented with Director/CEO, COO, CHRO challenge coins and a Thanks Award of $250. The winner will be announced the week of June 24, the final week of Pride Month.

“As we champion diversity and inclusion, we invite all talented minds to showcase their creativity in the logo contest for PRIDE,” said Dr. Patrick Oldenburgh, executive vice president, chief Human Resources officer and executive champion of PRIDE.

The contest reflects a wider effort to update and modernize logos across special emphasis groups at the Exchange.
