Vanessa assumed the role of visual marketing specialist in October 2023 and has been covering all Exchange facilities since December. Her outstanding efforts have surpassed expectations, earning her recognition from both Exchange leadership and base command. Vincenzo “Vinch” Battistella
Sales Clerk
Aviano Exchange

Vincenzo, or “Vinch” as he’s most well-known, exceeds expectations, exudes passion and consistently receives positive customer comments. His efforts hugely affected the main store Power Zone department and he saved more than $9,000 in write-offs by repairing returned electronic items. Vinch fosters an inviting environment and builds a connection with the community, creating return customers. He is a true team player, an exceptional co-worker and one of our go-to associates for events. Vinch is the epitome of Family Serving Family, and we are proud to have him as part of the Aviano Exchange family!

Gilbert Buster
Food Service Worker
Kaiserlautern Military Community

Recently, we had special guests—Brigadier Gen, Jason W. Knight and his wife—visiting KMCC from the Pentagon. His wife had an event in the food court. Brigadier Gen. Knight personally went to the general manager to convey his compliments and speak to what a gentlemen Gilbert had been and how helpful he was to both he and his wife. Thank you, Gilbert, for being such a great example of Family Serving Family!
