Michigan ANG Welcomes Full-Size Unattended Retail Unit at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center
Guard members at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center on the go can pick up a BE FIT 360-approved snack or beverage with the new addition of an unattended retail unit.
Base Commander Col. James Rossi and Master Sgt. James Fuller joined Selfridge Exchange General Manager Charles Thrasher and Exchange Services Business Manager Doaa Hassan in unveiling the new unattended retail unit during a ribbon cutting June 10.
The unit is just the second installed for Michigan Air National Guard members, following the first installation at Battle Creek. Authorized shoppers can also pick up ready-made meals and toiletries in addition to snacks and beverages.
“This new retail unit supports the Michigan Air National Guard with tax-free snacks, beverages, toiletries and more when stopping into an Exchange or Express isn’t an option,” Thrasher said. “The expansion of the Exchange’s footprint at Michigan ANG bases demonstrates our continued mission to serve the best customers in the world.”
