General Manager CJ Morganfield and her team unveiled Fort Cavazos’ newly renovated Warrior Way Express, welcoming three new dining options and store upgrades to support the community with a modern convenience experience.

The $2 million project was celebrated June 17 with a ribbon-cutting event to officially unveil the upgrades and new additions, including new murals; updated coolers and freezers for food and beverage items; an expanded Snack Avenue assortment with better-for-you options; and four new self-checkout kiosks.

The dining lineup also includes quick eats from Hunt Brothers Pizza, Chopz and Eddie Peppers. Both Chopz and Eddie Peppers support Soldiers’ healthy lifestyles with better-for-you dining options including salads, wraps, tacos and more as part of the Exchange’s BE FIT 360 initiative.

“The Express upgrades have helped us improve how we serve those who serve, giving our community more options for dining, a speedier checkout and an inviting place to visit on the go,” Morganfield said. “We’re excited to continue to add a positive impact on the quality of life here at Fort Cavazos and look forward to serving the community at the newly renovated store.”
