OPERATION: Call Out—Europe/SWA Region

Operation: Call Out logo and art (associates at work).

The hard work and dedication to our service members provided by Stanley Brooks, Stefania Matsumura and Deeptha Rasad are outstanding. Their efforts to continuously find new ways to provide that extra customer care are appreciated, and we are proud to have them on the Europe team!

Stanley Brooks
Office Assistant
Wiesbaden Exchange

Stanley Brooks—or DJ Stan, as he’s more affectionately known throughout our community—is one of the best the Wiesbaden Exchange has to offer. He consistently goes above the call of duty to assist not just our customers, but also his teammates—always with a smile and a great attitude. After two years of visualizing and planning, on June 2, Stan played a key role in hosting a major event at the Wiesbaden Shopping Center. He helped successfully execute the first car show, featuring over 140 cars!  His efforts gained recognition from command leadership and the Exchange family.  Check it out on our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1v8GCX264552Jvj6/?mibextid=WC7FNe.  Thank you, Stan, for all your amazing efforts and everything you do for us!

Stefania ‘Stefy’ Matsumura
Operations Squad Supervisor
Qatar

Stefy Matsumura has a thirst for knowledge, is eager to learn and wants to experience everything she can during her deployment. Escorting trucks, moving merchandise on the flightline, assisting with our Afghan guests at Camp As Sayliyah and helping all the facilities on the installation, she hasn’t slowed down since she arrived in Qatar. Stefy isn’t content to remain busy just at work; in her off time she can be found teaching swimming lessons, leading yoga classes, and participating in installation running events. She recently placed first in the women’s division of a 10K, then reported for a full day of work. She literally hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped!

Deeptha Rasad
Zone 1 Warehouse Manager
Arifjan, Kuwait

Mr. Rasad started with the Exchange in 1994 as one of our first local workforce members. His exceptional management ensures timely handling for a critical hub of operations—our Southwest Asia supply chain. With meticulous oversight, he manages commercial air, military air and container shipments for downrange, including Iraq. Our inventory averages around $4.8 million; with Mr. Rasad’s leadership, we achieved an outstanding 0.16% annual inventory result for fiscal year 2023. We deeply appreciate his exceptional service and invaluable contribution to the Exchange mission in Southwest Asia!
