Ms. Acott has shown remarkable dedication and commitment during her decade-plus Exchange career.  Transitioning from the Cash Cage to the dynamic services field, Kym has been a source of joy and laughter. Her unique personality has earned the admiration and respect of vendors and colleagues. Her unwavering focus on enhancing customer experience and upholding Exchange standards highlights her dedication to serving those who serve and have served. Over the past two years, she has navigated various vacancies of the services business manager, two services business techs s and a valued colleague, demonstrating unwavering commitment to ensuring seamless operations.  During the onboarding of a new SBT, Kym took on additional responsibilities with short-term food and concessions, maintaining their profitability and productivity levels. Her selfless dedication and willingness to share her expertise have significantly contributed to a notable 13% increase in services sales YTD May.

Amerudin “Amer” Bedsock

Amerudin “Amer” Bedsock is the backbone of inbound operations for the Exchange’s Southwest Asia region.  His primary responsibility is the tracking and delivery of all oceans going cargo transported into SWA; he also monitors commercial and military air transport. Amer’s outstanding communication and customer service skills enable him to maintain successful relationships with U.S. miltary and civilian transporters across the region, ensuring the timely and seamless delivery of cargo. His steadfast dedication to professionalism directly affects the success of the Exchange’s mission throughout the region. Amer’s proactive problem-solving skills coupled with his 15 years of logistics experience with the Exchange enables him to foresee and solve problems before they become an issue for Exchange teams receiving cargo. Amer’s knowledge, experience, passion, dedication and professionalism make him invaluable not only the SWA Logistics team but to the success of the entire Exchange mission throughout Southwest Asia.

Joseph Malewicki joined the team at Popeyes in 2022, and he consistently provides outstanding customer service. Joseph suggests to customers that they pay using the MILITARY STAR card, which is 10% year-to-date and 5% over last year’s penetration goal. He also ensures that guests are kept informed about any service delays and product availability. Joseph’s positive attitude, sincerity and genuine care make every guest’s experience excellent. Customers are delighted to interact with Joseph and often ask about him when he’s not around. As a 21-year Army veteran, Joseph has a strong bond with the community he serves and is deeply passionate about serving customers. His dedication and service are genuinely inspiring to everyone at the Grafenwoehr Food Court.
