The Fort Riley Exchange has unveiled three unattended retail units across the installation, giving Soldiers 24-hour convenience shopping experience.

The retail units, in the 1st Combat Aviation, 1st Brigade Headquarters and 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team Headquarters buildings, opened in July and August. The self-serve units offer better-for-you snacks, frozen meals, toiletries and more—all curated to the tastes and purchasing habits of the military community.

“Soldiers have told us they are enjoying the URUs and the variety of options available to them,” said Exchange Services Business Manager Jessica Tacy. “The vendor says the locations are performing well and sales are showing success.”

The units accept debit, credit and cash transactions at its self-checkout area. Soldiers can also use in-unit microwaves to heat their frozen and refrigerated meals for easy dining on the go.

Fort Riley Exchange will also welcome a Buffalo Wild Wings To-Go this year.
