Services Business Technician
Nellis AFB Exchange

We proudly recognize Mary Joy Dela Cruz for her outstanding contributions as a services business technician. Mary Joy’s exceptional work and dedication have been instrumental to the success of Nellis Services. She excels in her role, working closely with 17 food truck vendors and efficiently coordinating three monthly food truck calendars, while also overseeing the Red Flag schedules for both the Nellis and Creech AFB communities. Her efforts directly led to impressive financial results, with year-to-date short-term food agreement sales reaching $720,910—an incredible 24% increase compared with last year. Mary Joy’s unwavering commitment and meticulous attention to detail truly set her apart. Thank you, Mary Joy, for keeping Nellis Services LIT!

 

Michelle Carter
Supervisor – Fort Douglas
Utah Exchange

Michelle came to the Exchange two years ago. She is the spouse of a Soldier who works on post and has a significant connection to the customers at Fort Douglas. Michelle is dedicated to the success of the Exchange and to every customer. She goes out of her way to ensure that the customer comes first. She is organized and knowledgeable. She helps keep associates on task and shares her knowledge of the store and merchandise with customers and associates alike. Michelle goes above and beyond in her efforts with the Soldiers on base. She is a pleasure to work with and is a valued member of the Exchange team.

Amanda Chavez
Foreman – Subway
Kirtland AFB Exchange

Amanda Chavez has been working as a foreman at Kirtland AFB food for 2½ years. Amanda is dedicated, reliable and hard-working. She knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it right. She always takes time to train new associates and assist team members in other food court restaurants. Her organizational skills and time management are top-notch. Amanda takes pride in her work and strives to provide the best customer service possible, taking the time to ensure that customers are satisfied with their sandwiches. Amanda sold 50 platters in June; this was no small feat and her diligence and follow-through made it possible. It’s a privilege and an honor to work alongside Amanda and appreciate all she does for the Exchange!
