MacDill Exchange Brings Panda Express to Food Court

Exchange and installation leaders cut the ribbon on the new Panda Express at MacDill AFB.

Airmen, families and members of the MacDill Air Force Base community can chow down on chow mein, orange chicken, broccoli and beef and more with the opening of Panda Express at the Exchange food court.

6th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Robert Magee joined MacDill BX General Manager Thea Sarver in cutting the ribbon on the name-brand restaurant Sept. 20.

“Adding Panda Express complements the other cuisine available at the BX food court,” Sarver said. “The community has expressed a lot of excitement for this project, and the Exchange is excited to deliver a delicious new dining option to them.”

Panda Express, like all of the Exchange’s 1,400 restaurants, offers better-for-you options such as string bean chicken breast, black pepper angus steak and steamed broccoli.

Anyone can dine at Exchange restaurants, including civilians and visitors. Dining at Exchange restaurants and shopping Exchange stores help makes the military community stronger, as 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested in the military community through support for on-base Quality-of-Life programs and capital improvements.
