He is never hesitant to re-merchandise upon new stock arrival to ensure that customers enjoy the best shoe-shopping experience possible. Thanks to his efforts, customers feel like they are visiting a new store every time, resulting in a 13% increase in shoe sales over prior year, and markdowns decreasing by 5.7%. Mr. Hernandez sets a great example for customers and teammates. He consistently wears a smile and maintains a positive attitude, being friendly and attentive to the needs of customers and associates. He shows exceptional patience, especially with customers who are visiting our Burger King for the first time. No matter the situation, he is always willing to lend a hand and volunteers to stay late if needed. Mr. Hernandez is also the go-to person for training new Burger King associates. His contributions have had a positive impact on the facility as DOR has increased 46% over AFP.

Ernesto Sarmiento shows exceptional dedication and delivers outstanding performance in his maintenance role. He consistently goes above and beyond, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the Exchange, ensuring that our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. Recently, our tractor trailers were down, and we had 14 inbound containers with five already waiting in the lot. He quickly got to work and got one of the trucks running and he moved the containers to be unloaded. His proactive approach in assisting where necessary saved the company time and $3,600 in re-spotting fees. His meticulous attention to detail, combined with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues, sets him apart as an invaluable team member. Ernie’s work ethic and problem-solving skills have significantly contributed to our operational success and created a more productive work environment.
