During the presentation, Hunt will discuss his tribe and heritage, as well as do’s and don’ts when interacting with Native Americans. He will also discuss statistics and disparities, including tips on how to make the work environment more inclusive.
For more than 30 years, Hunt has offered coaching and training for corporate, government and private sector employers to help employees meet and exceed goals. As a motivational speaker, he has been featured in keynote addresses, workshops and seminars.
Hunt has been appointed to the Maryland Minority Business Enterprise Advisory Committee for the Maryland Commission of Indian Affairs. He graduated from the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership class and has served as the executive director of the Baltimore American Indian Center.
Hunt received the Minority Business Enterprise Advocate of the Year Award from the Small Business Administration and the “Power Ascending” Award by the Warfield’s (Maryland) Business Journal. He has also been recognized in Baltimore Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40.”
“Nation’s Network is ecstatic to provide an opportunity to educate and reflect on the culture and contributions of Native Americans through its first-ever lunch and learn,” said special emphasis program executive champion Alan French, Executive Vice President and Chief Logistics Officer. “We are honored to do our part in creating a space where all people can thrive.”
