Fort Cavazos Exchange has expanded dining options for the Fort Cavazos community with Panera Bread, now open inside the 1st Cavalry Mini Mall food court.

Fort Cavazos Garrison Executive Officer Lt. Col. Ben Carter joined Exchange General Manager CJ Morganfield in a ribbon-cutting Nov. 20 at the 1st Cavalry Mini Mall food court. Guests were treated to samples and giveaways, including Panera swag.

“Panera offers our community a variety of better-for-you meals,” Morganfield said. “The restaurant being at the Exchange allows our community to choose convenience without having to sacrifice taste or health.”

Adding Panera is part of the Exchange’s effort to improve the Quality of Life for all who work and live on Fort Cavazos. This is the fourth Panera opened by the Exchange on a military installation. Catering is available, and the restaurant will support DoorDash orders in the future.
