Consumables is Ms. Choe’s area of responsibility. Providing excellent customer service experiences is crucial, especially with Consumables making up 35% of total store sales and an average GP of 50%. Ms. Choe prides herself in exemplifying the Exchange core values and providing EVERY customer with a fantastic shopping experience. She has been instrumental in keeping up with the increased demand due to a temporary dining facility closure, stocking continuously, ensuring that the sales floor is merchandised and that the stock room remains organized as well as ensuring first in/first out is maintained. Mr. Chin is an exceptional team player who consistently demonstrates dedication and a deep understanding of the Exchange and Anthony’s Pizza operations. His upbeat attitude and exceptional service have not only impressed loyal customers but also new visitors, many of whom have taken the time to thank him personally for going above and beyond. Through his commitment to promoting the MILITART STAR card, he achieved a remarkable 60 applications YTD as of November 2024. Furthermore, Mr. Chin underscores the value of strong leadership and operational efficiency, consistently setting a high bar for his colleagues. His unwavering commitment and hard work are evident, earning him well-deserved recognition and respect.

Yokota Yellow Box Furniture Store

Miku Uehara is being recognized for her pivotal part in the transition from a Military Clothing store into the now Yellow Box Furniture Store. She was the first to arrive in Mainland Japan from Okinawa and began her work as soon as her feet hit the ground. In just two weeks’ time, Miku was able to help establish the new furniture store at Yokota Air Base for its soft opening Nov. 4 and grand opening Nov. 8. She built the foundation for what has become a successful concession that has generated $145K in sales in its first three weeks of operation, an increase of 175% vs. LY Main Store DEPT 86!
