Keesler AFB Exchange Facilities Sustain Minor Damage from Hurricane Zeta

Hurricane Zeta blew ashore in the Gulf Coast overnight, packing high winds and heavy rain while damaging Exchange facilities in its path.
Keesler AFB, which will reopen on Friday, bore the brunt of the storm as the canopy at the Express suffered wind damage and an Exchange trailer was blown over. Damage was reported at Popeyes as well.
Other developments in the aftermath of Zeta include:
- Associates are accounted for at all locations.
- Damage to the Fort Rucker Burger King sign.
- Power outages at Exchanges on Camp Merrill in Georgia and Camp McClellan in Alabama.
- Damage to Maxwell AFB Burger King drive-thru menu board.
- Fuel inventory at all locations is in great shape.
- Stock assortment is good and no stores are requiring emergency shipments.
