Dilek Lunkaya’s first experience with the Exchange began more than 20 years ago while she worked as a childcare provider for a military family stationed in Turkey. Her experience opened her eyes as to how strong the family bond was within the military community and she longed to be a part of it.
“While babysitting for the military family, I would visit the Exchange many times,” Lunkaya said. “I was very impressed with both the associates and the service they provided to the military community.”
Dilek Lunkaya has been working for the Incirlik Main Exchange in Turkey for 21 years and relishes the opportunity to provide her customers with a great shopping experience.
Lunkaya started as a vendor at the Incirlik Main Exchange in Turkey, and after 21 years of continued service, now works as an inventory control associate. Lunkaya appreciates her team and loves coming to work every day.
“We have a great team here,” Lunkaya said. “When you work together all this time you are no longer coworkers, but a family.”
She relishes the opportunity to provide her customers with a great shopping experience.
“Having a satisfied customer is the best part of my job,” Lunkaya said. “We are ‘family serving family.’”
Lunkaya’s belief in the Exchange’s core values is strengthened daily in the excellent service she and her team provide.
“The military deserve our best because they sacrifice so much,” she said. “They are our family and I am proud to be a part of an organization that puts service members first.”
