Operation Call Out — Europe Region

The hard work and dedication to our service men and women provided by Dominik Amtmann, David Knight and Jacqueline Dear are outstanding. Their efforts to continuously find new ways to provide that extra customer care are appreciated, and we are proud to have them on the Europe team!

Dominik Amtmann

Grafenwoehr Main Store — Receiver

Dominik has stepped up and assumed additional responsibilities in the absence of key associates,  creating outstanding results with direct impact daily on the store’s inventory-accountability and bottom line.  On one occasion he saved the store $130k by noticing the same manifest was charged twice.  He always has a can-do attitude and a smile, is always willing to do what’s necessary for the store as a receiver, laborer, driver or admin.  He is the “Go to Guy” for whatever is needed, and he always gets the job done.

David Knight

Panzer Military Store — Warehouse Worker, Damage/Defective Cage

David Knight is being nominated for his contributions to help protect our bottom line. He is the primary associate for our damage/defective cage and saves us an average of $10k per month by diligently working with vendors on charge-backs and repairs, and by even repairing items himself to decrease losses to our store. David not only handles the high volume in the damage cage, but routinely steps in to help stock, unload trucks, receive merchandise, research inventory/receiving discrepancies, and he can frequently be observed assisting customers on the sales floor. He steps up with EUCOM delivery routes when our regular drivers are out, and he is the first to volunteer to take on any project that will benefit the store. David always has a positive attitude and a willingness to solve for yes with both internal and external customers. He can be counted on to do the right thing and as a Veteran he is truly,Family Serving Family. We are so grateful to have him on our team.

Jacqueline Dear

Feltwell Elementary School — School Meal Supervisor

Jacqui has worked diligently with the school administration this year to help implement the breakfast in the classroom program at Feltwell Elementary. Together they created a website to order meals and put a plan in place to have the meals delivered to three different buildings on campus. Feltwell Elementary has seen an increase in sales 70% YTD with over 75% participation for breakfast and 78% participation for lunch. Jacqui has a connection with the parents, students and administration at Feltwell. She is well-known for going above and beyond to make things easier for everyone, but especially for the children.  She is one of the School Meal Program’s brightest stars and we are extremely proud to have her.
