“This honor is a tribute to the Fort Irwin Exchange team,” Rice said. “The rock is dedicated to all our deployed associates past, present and future!”

The Painted Rocks landmark recognizes the contributions of units that train at the Fort Irwin National Training Center. The Fort Irwin Exchange was selected to receive a rock in honor of its continued support of the Fort Irwin community.

“This is a proud moment for the Fort Irwin Exchange,” said General Manager Ladda Thomas. “The addition of our rock to the landmark visually displays the ‘family serving family’ core value. We are excited to continue to provide the best service and support to the best shoppers.”

The artwork showcased on the rock was created by the Exchange’s Corporate Communications and Brand Marketing team. The Exchange is the first non-appropriated fund of the Department of Defense entity to have its own rock on display.

Nice! Great addition to a historic site – emblematic of the Exchange partnership with Arm units.
