Fort Hood Is Now Offering Chiropractic Services to Military Shoppers
Fort Hood Exchange is now the third PX or BX offering on-post chiropractic care for members of the Fort Hood community.
Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Calvin Hall helped cut the ribbon on The Joint Chiropractic on Dec. 8.
“The Fort Hood PX is proud to offer chiropractic care to the military community,” said Exchange General Manager CJ Morganfield. “This addition extends the benefit to our retirees and Veterans in the Fort Hood area, demonstrating to our shoppers that their health and wellness is top of mind at the Exchange.”
Members of the community—including disabled Veterans eligible to shop at Exchanges and Department of Defense and Coast Guard civilians—have access to walk-in consultations, exams and adjustments, with no appointments or insurance required.
The Joint is the largest operator of chiropractic clinics in the United States. Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst is slated to open a clinic by the end of 2022, with additional locations expected to rollout in 2023.
Chiropractic clinics further strengthen the Exchange’s BE FIT program, which also nourishes Warfighters and their families with better-for-you meal and snack options at Exchange restaurants and Expresses and brings tax-free fitness apparel, accessories and footwear at Exchange stores and ShopMyExchange.com.
