From ME3: Vendor Expo Highlights Newest Products, Selling Techniques

Associates attending the Military Exchange Electronics Expo in Orlando participated in rotating sessions, learning more about the latest technology at the vendor expo.

Representatives from nearly 70 vendors, including Bose, Sonos, Meta, Logitech and Razer and more, hosted 10-minute sessions to introduce the newest products. Associates learned key features for products, including speakers, watches, gaming equipment, virtual reality and more to enhance their selling skills in stores.

The Exchange Credit Program, Protection Plan and associates on the Planning, Allocation and Replenishment team were also part of the expo, answering questions from store associates on their respective programs.

“I really took to the gaming computers, and it was cool seeing the OLED technology and where that’s going,” said Yokota Exchange PowerZone Sales Area Manager Ricky Cabral. “The vendor expo is a rapid-fire introduction to a lot of brands that we see in store but may not know much about, plus I’m from the Pacific region so it really helps keep us up to speed.”
